The Transfer Station is located at 1340 Highway Rt.1, it is just past the Worcester Wreath Company in Columbia Falls. Starting Friday, May 4th PRSWDD will be open every Friday from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM .  Hours of operation are Wednesday and Saturday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM as well. All trash must either be in a town trash bag or weighed and paid by the pound. Trash bags are available at the Transfer Station or town hall for $2 for Large bags or $1 for Small bags(the sticker must be attached to the bag). You must also show proof of residency and receive a free sticker that is applied to the front passenger window of your vehicle. The transfer station services are for the residents of Addison, Beals, Columbia, Columbia Falls, Jonesboro and Jonesport. If you have any questions you can call 483-3844. The PRSWDD board meetings are held  the second Monday of each month, 6:30 p.m. at the Columbia Falls Town Office.
